Buying a new home should be an exciting and smooth experience. We’ve made the inspection process easier and less stressful by allowing you to pay at closing.

How It Works

  1. Booking & Invoice
    Once you’ve scheduled your inspection, we will send an invoice. Simply choose “Pay At Close” as your payment method.

  2. Select Your Closing Status

    • Option 1: If you know your title company’s information, select “I have my title company info.”
    • Option 2: If you don’t have your closing company info yet, choose “I don’t have my closing company info,” and our payment partner, Guardian, will reach out to your agent for the details.
      Note: If Guardian doesn’t receive the info within 5 business days, they may charge the backup credit card on file.
  3. Complete the Agreement
    Sign the Pay At Close agreement at the bottom of the invoice page to complete your selection.

    Please Note: Credit card information is required only as a backup payment method. To validate the card, a $0.01 charge will be made. No other charges will be applied unless the sale does not reach closing.


Frequently Asked Questions

Once the title company details are sent to Guardian, they’ll coordinate directly with the title company to include inspection fees at closing, ensuring a seamless process.

No, the Pay At Close service is free. The only requirement is a minimum inspection fee, which is set below our average home inspection cost with termite and pool checks.

No problem! Simply select “I don’t have my closing company info” at checkout. Guardian will then contact your agent for these details.

If you switch title companies, either inform your agent or contact Guardian at 1-800-608-7363. Guardian independently manages payments and communication with title companies or clients when transactions don’t make it to closing.
