After contacting other home inspections companies, I chose Checklist Inspections for our 11-month new construction warranty inspection.

Scheduling the inspection was very easy and they were able to accommodate my schedule needs. The inspector arrived at the scheduled inspection time, and after initial introductions, he got right to work. Our inspector was Jesse Teets. He completed a thorough inspection of the exterior of the home, but due to rainy conditions, he was not able to walk the roof and instead did an eave inspection of our roof.

After the exterior was completed, Jesse completed a thorough interior inspection which also included a test for mold (add-on with extra cost), appliances, electrical, HVAC, and water. He then inspected our attic looking for structural issues, the air handler, and HVAC ducting.

After Jesse was complete with the inspection, he toured us around the exterior and interior explaining the issues he found. We were very impressed with Jesse’s thoroughness, customer service, and friendly demeanor.

Jesse (Inspector) was very Professional. He went over the inspection results completely and thoroughly. It was nice working with a company, and Jesse in particular to do a complete, knowledgable inspection.

It was very easy to schedule the inspection and there was no long drawn out waiting for anything. All done start to finish within three days with written inspection report, with pictures within 3 days!

Super professional and thorough. Afterwards, I recommended this company to all 3 of my neighbors who had home warranties soon to expire at the same time on our new build homes. The inspector knew what he was doing, he took his shoes off and wore booties, he inspected every crevice, he spent like 30 min with us after the inspection to answer any of our questions. It was a great experience. I’m used to dealing with crappie companies that provide a poor service or have bad customer service, but this company was not like that. They found many items that were wrong with the home and saved us a lot on money due to it needing to be fixed by the sellers. They also explained what they couldn’t check due to issues with the home.
